策展方法 · Curation method
An archive is only as good as its evidence. This page explains what we collect, how statuses are decided, and how to correct us.
What gets an entry
A project is archived when it stopped, was archived, was confirmed paused, pivoted, or was confirmed unfinished, and when at least one public source supports that status.
What does not get an entry
A quiet repository is not evidence of abandonment. A product shutting down is not evidence the company closed. An acquisition or rename is not a death. Unverifiable reasons are not recorded as causes.

Facts, statements, analysis
Each block is labelled. A fact must cite a source. A statement is attributed to its author. Analysis and hypotheses are the curator's reading and are marked as such in the interface.
When the reason is unknown
Popular explanations such as "no demand" or "burned through funding" are not facts unless a source says so. Entries with no public reason say exactly that.
Corrections
Every entry lists a verification date. If a source is wrong, gone, or misread, send a correction with a link and the entry will be re-verified.
Images and leftover assets
We do not copy article text or take images without a stated basis. Openly visible code is not a reuse licence; when a licence is unknown the entry says so.
Where the model index went
The original ModelYard model index still exists at /models: it tracks model releases, lifecycle and retirement with its own search.
